Benefit

Daily Hospitalization Allowance As a result of accidental injury which occurs during the effective period of the Rider, the insured shall be necessarily confined, within a hospital as a resident patient under medical treatment, diagnosis and professional care of a Physician, we will pay the benefits equal to the actual Number of Days of Hospital Confinement (at most 180 days per hospitalization) multiplied by the appointed amount of Daily Hospitalization Allowance.

If, as a result of sickness which occurs during the effective period of the Rider, the insured shall be necessarily confined, within a hospital as a resident patient under medical treatment, diagnosis and professional care of a Physician, we will pay the benefits equal to the actual Number of Days less 3 days of Hospital Confinement (at most 180 days per hospitalization) multiplied by the appointed amount of Daily Hospitalization Allowance.
